Andrew Vallner was appointed by the World Bank, following a global search, as investment consultant to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka as trustee and manager of the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF).

At Rs2 trillion, or $A20bn, EPF is the retirement savings vehicle for the entire private sector workforce of Sri Lanka. The selection was based on demonstrated expertise in “clean sheet” portfolio design.
